Reading Files From Intel Reader On BrailleNote Apex
Connect The Intel Reader to the USB port on the back of the BrailleNote Apex. You will get the message “hard disk ready”. The text file will be stored in a folder of the same name within the “texts” folder on the Intel Reader.
From main menu press w for word processor | ||
Press o for open document | | |
Press backspace to change the drive | | |
At the drive list prompt, press h for hard disk | | |
You will now be asked for folder name. Press the space bar until you get to the folder called texts | | |
Press space with dots 5 and 6. You will get the prompt “list of folders” | | |
Press the space bar until you reach the folder that has the same name as the file you want to read | | |
Press enter | | |
You will now be asked for file name. Press the space bar until you reach the file name. | | |
Press enter | | |
You will be asked if you want to review the options. Press n for no |
you will receive the message “this is a text file, computer Braille is required”. You will now be placed in the document and will be able to read, edit and copy.
